World Boxing Organization (WBO) bantamweight champion Jorge Arce of Mexico is determined to prove that world super bantamweight champion Nonito "The Filipino Flash" Donaire is not an invincible fighter.

"I want to this fight because I always fight the best, and they say he (Donaire) is the best but I know I can beat him," Arce told Boxing Socialist.

"I will prove to him, he has never fought a fighter like me. He is not a monster, I can beat him," he added.

Arce is known for his all action style and 46 of his 60 career wins have come by knockout. He also has six career losses and two draws.

He is coming off a fifth-round knockout victory against Lorenzo Parra last February 18. In May 2011, he knocked out Wilfredo Vazquez, whom Donaire defeated last February 4 via split decision.

"I don't know why they fought Vazquez when I beat Vazquez. They should have fought me," Arce said.

"I don't know if it's him or his people, but someone is afraid of me fighting Donaire," headded.

The Mexican legend is confident that he will fight Donaire later this year, saying that even Top Rank boss Bob Arum wants him to fight "The Filipino Flash."

"It will happen, it's just a matter of time. They want to make it big and I'm okay with that, just as long as I get Donaire," he said.

Arce is even willing to fight in Donaire's native Philippines.

"I don't care where it is just as long as I fight him. That's just more pressure on him to be great in front of his people, so he will come to fight and I want that," he said.

Donaire is reported to be making his ring return on July, while Arce wants to fight in the undercard of the Manny Pacquiao-Timothy Bradley bout on June 9.
