Following the win, Montiel sent a message to bantamweight contender Nonito Donaire.The two are scheduled to meet on February 19 on HBO. (February 20 in Manila)
"I felt very strong. Soto is brave but I came win, and I'm ready for Donaire. On February 19, I will show everyone exactly who's better," Montiel said.
